What are PayPal MicroPayments?
A micropayment in general is a low dollar transaction. For example, maybe you are selling $1.00 MP3 downloads on your website. This could be considered a micropayment.
Payment fee structures, including PayPal’s, do not work well with micropayments because they often include a one-time transaction fee that is a large percentage of such a small payment.
Do you help people who purchase your plugin to create two separate paypal accounts – standard and micropayment?
There’s not a lot I can do other than point you to PayPal to request that they create a MicroPayments account for you. Once that’s done, then I can help you setup our plugin(s) to utilize it accordingly.
To utilised the multi-account paypal plug-in must you also have the paypal for woocommerce plug-ing as well? Or can I just purchase the multi-account paypal plug-in?
Is the PayPal Micropayments plugin integrated with the Multi-Account plugin? Can it be used by a Multi-Vendor Marketplace administrator to send high commissions (>$12) to a standard PayPal account and low commissions (<$12) to a PayPal MicroPayment account? My understanding is that currently admin commissions cannot be split to multiple admin PayPal accounts, they are sent only to the account configured in Express Checkout. Is this correct? If it is, can it be fixed in the Q1 2024 update? Thanks.
I mean, can a Multi-Vendor Marketplace administrator configure two primary PayPal accounts (the first Standard and the second MicroPayments) and funnel sales commissions taken from vendors to one of them, based on the $12 cut-off? Thanks.
